Avodah offers leadership development programs for emerging Jewish leaders to make an impact on the most pressing issues of our time and create social change.

What it looks like

By combining on-the-ground experience, intensive leadership development, and supportive, pluralistic Jewish community, Avodah lays the groundwork for young Jewish adults to turn their passion into action and become life-long leaders for social change. Avodah’s programs give participants the ability to forge their own deep Jewish identities, rooted in the principle of justice as a Jewish value. Avodah participants are part of a 1,200-strong alumni network, in which 82 percent of all participants continue in social justice careers beyond their time in Avodah and one in every 10 Avodah participants go on to become a CEO, Executive Director, or senior leader in their workplace. Across America, Avodah participants are leading the way on the most pressing issues in our country.
