Rebecca Stevens is a theater artist, designer, and facilitator. Her work focuses on how to  lead conversations among communities through interactive design. She has worked broadly across the non profit sector including museums, libraries, community news rooms, immigration law clinics, and humanities organizations. As a theater maker, her participatory theater events have been produced  at Steppenwolf Theater Company, Chicago Shakespeare Theater’s Shakespeare 400, Chicago Humanities Festival, High Concept Labs, and Pivot Arts. Rebecca takes particular delight in rooting transformative design in Jewish practice and ritual. She served as the Director of Programs at Ask Big Questions, a program of Hillel International and is the resident Experience Designer at Mishkan Chicago, a Jewish spiritual community. As an UpStart Associate, Rebecca partners with innovators to design new access points to Jewish life through transformative experiences. Rebecca holds a degree in theater and creative writing from Northwestern University.
